"Poor"
CARLOS was a great guy and very helpful DOUG was very pleasant too The girl at Reception could do with training in Hospitality - not at all friendly or helpful. The view from 12th floor was exceptional.

Staff were nice. Housekeeping was okay. The kitchen had a single pot, with functioning stove and fridge, but wish it had more cooking utensils (eg spatula) and basics like salt & pepper. Bed was comfy. Amazing view from 9th floor. Location is close to everything downtown.

The location is excellent, the front desk was very friendly, and the bed was comfortable. The unit is more like an apartment with separate living and bedroom, with a full kitchen though with minimal cooking utensils. It did at least have a microwave.

It's an older building but it's clean. Pretty sure it used to be an apartment building as it's like little one bedroom apartments. The price is reflective to what you get!

The location, size of the room and price were great. Reviews of the hotel said that it was old and worn, which was true, but well worth the price for a suite at this location.

We came to Vancouver for a concert. The location of Tropicana is unrivalled — right in the heart of the west end. We could see English Bay and Coal Harbour from our balcony. There was a well stocked kitchenette, but Timmies and Subway are both a stones throw away. Rogers centre was a 15 minute walk. Dozens of restaurants around.

We loved the Tropicana, it is dated but that provides a lot of the charm and it was clean and not cluttered. It's in a great area of Vancouver. The staff were extremely friendly, chatty and helpful.

Good location, free parking, friendly staff and no problem to check in at midnight . Its old and shabby, but exactly what is visible on the website and actually clean and really ok considering the price. Bed is comfortable,
